OUR STORY
Becky Macy, original owner of The Lighthouse Café, has launched two beautiful nautical, Southern charmed restaurants in St. Lucie County once again! The Hungry Marlin Café is located in 2331 S. U.S. 1 in the Sabal Palm Plaza and 4442 Okeechobee Road in the Orange Blossom Business Center in Fort Pierce.

Becky and Reid Macy remodeled and redesigned both locations to amplify the Florida feel. Serving delectable choices such as the Crab Cake Burger, Crispy Mahi Sandwiches and Shrimp Tacos, the seafood lover has a lot to enjoy.

The Hungry Marlin exemplifies the meaning of family owned and operated. The Macy's son, Roy, who has a culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu of Pittsburgh, left his job of many years at The Four Seasons Palm Beach to work at his family's eatery in the Sabal Palm Plaza. The entire family is involved in some capacity. From working on-site in various capacities to managing social media and marketing from afar.

Besides the Macys and their adult children, the crew consists of nieces, nephews and long-time friends and employees dating back to their Lighthouse Cafe days. If you're looking for long-time Fort Pierce server Judy Fontaine, look no further. You will find her most days working at the Hungry Marlin!

Besides all the amazing seafood choices, diners can find a full breakfast menu with biscuits and gravy, eggs Benedict, shrimp and grits and all the traditional breakfast classics. For lunch, don't pass on one of their famous burgers or delicious sandwiches.

Whether you're in the mood for a simple hamburger or a deluxe Bottom Line Burger topped with roasted pepper cheese, bacon, onion, tomato, arugula and cracked pepper aioli, The Hungry Marlin has something for everyone! Here, desserts, appetizers, beer and the best service round out your meal perfectly.

Come and find out what's special on the menu today. Becky and her friendly staff look forward to your visit!
